It’s great to see such a strong and
familiar range of beers making the top twelve for The Critic’s Choice, all
deserve their place in this list.
However with so many interesting collaborative batches being made throughout
last year, such as Bridge Road x Mikkeller’s Dark Harvest; or the prolific
brewing schedules of breweries such as Red Duck, who unearthed intriguing
styles such as their Gruiter, it would be great to see a more forward thinking
list for next year.
Today we will are also treating everyone with
the Feral Tusk, which is about to arrive fresh via cold transport from Western
Australia. This is the first time Feral
has brewed their Double IPA since 2006, and it will also be the first time it
has ever left the state. It’s their
biggest beer in line with their American style IPAs, fresh hopped and
guaranteed quickest delivery from brewery to tap so the hop characteristics
don’t have time to taper off.
We will be the only venue in NSW to hit
your taste buds with this beast of a brew, so looking forward to seeing you this
weekend to enjoy some of Australia’s best beers.
