For this month's Ale Stars we invited the Beer Ambassadors down for a chat about their recent beer odyssey in the US.
Tom, Barney and Miro talked us through their adventures and showed some slides of the breweries, beer bars, and road signs of note that they came across along the journey. The beers for the night were some of the best beers we could source from the west coast of the States.
It was another great night with the boys giving us a great insight into the beer scene in the US at the moment (and perhaps an idea of what we can expect to happen here in the coming years). Last but not least we bid farewell to on of our favourite Ale Stars on Tuesday as well - Kelv is headed to Perth for new job. All of us here at The Local Taphouse would like to wish him all the very best and we look forward to a possible road trip in the west so we can have a beer with him.
Next month Ale Stars is another special one with guest from the multi award winning Murrays Brewing Co. Our mouths are already watering at the prospect.
