In the weeks leading up to Christmas here at the St Kilda Taphouse, we honoured some of our favourite punters with our first group of "Local Taphouse Hall of Fame Members".
Admission to this prestigious group is not handed out to just anyone. These folks are part of the fabric of The Local. They don't have to be here daily, they don't have to spend lots of money, they don't even have to drink beer. But in their own way, they have made a contribution to our little community, have made their pledge, and have now been immortalised with their own plaque attached to the bar.
Some of these inductees have been visiting for a beverage since the Taphouse opened its doors at the beginning of 2008 and others date back to the original Local's opening 9 years ago!
So, in no particular order, we welcome Johnny C, Shane, Baz & Yvonne, Shandy, Steve R, Jade, Hendo, Sam, and Brendan to The Local Taphouse Hall of Fame. We hope that you continue to be part of the family and look forward to having a drink with you sometime soon.
