The one and only time I travelled to Canberra to visit the famed Wig & Pen (and resident brewer) Richard Watkins, I also met the publican Lachie (above).
Well, word has just come out that Lachie is retiring and the brewpub is up for sale. Whatever happens now, I hope the outcome involves Richard's beers paying our taps a visit more frequently than the rare gems we've been able to get in the past.
