Shania said we'd never make it

When we first opened The Local Taphouses, we often said that we wanted craft beer (and craft beer bars) to be on the map for tourists and it was our pipe dream to have a Taphouse mentioned in a guide book.

Well, at Sydney airport the other day, I was browsing through the new Lonely Planet travel guide for Melbourne and found this (above photos). We're all dead chuffed we're finally now in a guide book - and in great company too..

We can die happy now.
