Last Tuesday saw a big crowd rock in for a few beers and a chat with one of Australia's best craft brewers - Owen Johnston, from Moo Brew in Hobart.
On tap for the occasion were the Moo Brew wheat, pilsner, dark and stout. As always, the beers went down a treat as Owen regaled stories of how they came to be. Most were his idea, it turns out, and if you don't like them, well, drink something else!
There were some great stories about the founder of MONA David Walsh and how Moorilla Estate came to include Moo Brew beers.
Trivia was, as per usual, a hoot, and whilst the aptly named 'Port Adelaide' team got off the bottom of the ladder courtesy of some bonus points, one team who shall remain nameless, again lost points by providing more information than was required in order to make themselves seem somehow better than everyone else.
A massive thanks to Owen for making the trip. Thanks also for Shandy for managing to stay awake despite coming straight from 20 hours in transit from Bali.
Anyway, it was a great night, and we hope to see you all here next month for some deliciously hoppy IPAs... September 20th, 7pm - book here.
