From the west coast of the US to an original IPA from England, to a Belgian, and of course, down the road to the Mornington Peninsula for a big fat Imperial IPA from AG, we certainly covered the whole gamut of these hoppy delights.
The turnout was a little light on, but those that were there certainly enjoyed hearing from Shandy the origins of the style, only to be told that it was probably all made up!
Next month looks like being perhaps the biggest Ale Star event ever - Garrett Oliver (Brooklyn Brewery) live via Skype for our very first 'Q & Ales'. We'll also be launching "The Oxford Companion to Beer" and will be tasting and launching the full range of Brooklyn beers for the first time in Australia.
Its on October 18th at 7pm.

And here to book.
