A reminder that next Tuesday's Ale Star session is also the launch of the first Q & Ales concept with Brooklyn Brewery's famous Garrett Oliver the first guest. But wait.. there's more! The night is ALSO the official launch of the Brooklyn Beer range and his new book, The Oxford Companion to Beer. The book is the most in-depth book of beer ever and contains 1,120 subjects ranging over all aspect of beer and beer culture. 160 writers from 24 countries were involved.
Ale Star members and casual attendees will have the chance to ask Garrett any questions during the live video hookup with New York.
Q & Ales will be filmed and edited before being added to a new online channel called Taphouse TV. Over time, we hope to create a series of video interviews featuring these fascinating guests.
