Well it's almost that time of year again.
A time for couples, lovers and perhaps love interests to express their feelings - Valentines Day.
Last years dinner was so popular we aren't changing a thing. Set in the magical Louvre (pictured above) tables will be set, candles lit, Roses everywhere and 1950's Rhythm and Blues in the background setting the mood.
Head Chef David Thackray has teamed up with Local Beerista Scotty to come up with a beautiful 5 course Degustation with matching Beer or Wine. We can also cater for dietary requirements given enough notice.
Upon arrival couples will be given welcome Champagne and escorted to their tables where they will be introduced to the nights menu and briefly told why each Wine or Beer has been matched with each course.
As you may know we have recently introduced a new dining menu which has been incredibly well received, this should give you an indication of the level of quality you can expect on the night.
Here at The Local we like to keep things simple and relaxed, so don't let Valentines Day be a stress, let us look after you and get you in the mood! Even if you're not a couple and a group of friends, it's a great excuse to come out and dine at your favourite Pub.
