Cup Eve & Cup Day entertainment in St. Kilda

A special night of Entertainment this Cup Eve at The Local Taphouse.  Tom Gleeson, Greg Fleet, Sam Petersen & others get your Cup celebrations started with a great round of a comedy - at a special start time of 8pm.  Doors open at 7pm and tickets at the door are $12/$10 concession.

Following comedy we've got Nick Roy to take us into a great night of dancing with his great covers!

Well it's almost that time of year again and we are ready! 

 This year we will have screens in all areas of the venue, plus different spaces to hire out privately for all shapes and sizes of groups! David Thackray has created a mouth watering canape menu and we have the craftiest beers plus a selection French Champagne. Darlo Melbourne Cup Lunch - Tuesday 2nd November - Book Early!

After the great success of last year's Melbourne Cup lunch, Head Chef Robbie has been furiously working away to come up with this year's menu. And the results are in:

Entree – to be shared
Charcuterie board
(prosciutto, salami, grilled chorizo, Taphouse pate, gherkin & sundried tomatoes w toasted bread)

(artichokes, olives, sundried tomatoes, chèvre filled capsicums & a black olive tapenade w toasted bread)

Mains
Grain fed Rump steak marinated in juniper berries and Guinness stout served with cauliflower puree, slow roasted field mushroom and baby carrots with a Guinness stout and rosemary jus

Pan seared Salmon served with a warm potato, caper, red onion and roquette salad, with a lemon and wit beer hollandaise

Homemade spinach ravioli filled with ricotta, sundried tomato, olives and basil
