We're thrilled to be involved with this fabulous month long event celebrating great food and beverages across 4 cities!
Each Sunday in November, we'll host a Spring Sunday Roast lunch on the terrace from 12-3pm.
Choose your meat and we'll do the rest! Only $38 and includes a drink on arrival and a delicious roast lunch with all the trimmings.

7 Cent Brewery brews up something special for St. Kilda Ale Stars this October
A new Victorian craft brewery on the scene, 7 Cent Brewery is producing some cracker beers and we've got them in the house on Tues., Oct 22nd from 7pm.
We'll sample beers from their core range - Hard Deck IPA, Whapping Wharf ESB and their B4 Dark Belgian Strong Ale. The boys are also brewing up a special treat for us...a one-off beer especially for the Ale Stars!
Join us for the usual fun, trivia, food & more - $40 for 4 beers + food.

Heretic Tap Showcase lands September 26th in St. Kilda
Be a heretic and come out to enjoy the first kegs of Miscreant (a sour ale in the Flemish red ale style) and Dead Weight (a malty, English-style barleywine) ever tapped in Australia.
Along with these two rare kegs, there will be a keg of Evil Twin - their delicious amber ale + bottles of Shallow Grave Porter, Evil Cousin West Coast IPA and their Rye Pale Ale, Gramarye.

Oktoberfest returns to St. Kilda!
Everyone's favourite SpecTAPular is back - join us Saturday, Oct 12th from 12pm for Oktoberfest.
There'll be 20 taps dedicated to the best in German style beers from overseas and Australia along with a great German inspired menu, live Oompah Band and all the lederhosen & dirndls you can handle!
A gold coin donation on the door will support Guide Dogs Victoria. And every (appropriately) costumed individual will be shouted a tasting paddle!

Barley's Angels makes a "Dark & Brewdy" return to St. Kilda
Barley's Angels is back! For all those ladies out there who have missed our catch ups, join us August 13th and take a walk on the DARK & BREWDY side with Lucy from well-known coffee Melbourne purveyors Proud Mary.
Lucy will be exploring and showcasing coffee in all its dark, rich glory, whilst we compare the distinctive roasted characters found in our favourite darker brews.
Together we will learn about the difference between espresso, cold drip, pour over, syphon, french press and various other brewing techniques.

Beer Academy Australia courses return to St. Kilda
Well, the Beer Academy Australia is back on Tuesday, July 9th at The Local Taphouse.

The Age LIVE: Inside the world of JMW Turner (St. Kilda)
Two centuries before Damien Hirst there was another ‘enfant terrible’ on the English painting scene.
Just as controversial in his day, Joseph Mallord William (J.M.W.) Turner is now credited with elevating English landscape painting to a whole new level.

Fete de la Musique in St. Kilda - June 20th
Join the Alliance Francais as they present their annual Fete de la Musique at The Local Taphouse on Thursday June 20th in the Bocce Room.
Music starts at 6:30pm with Josh Rennie-Hyne (folk) and continues with Nicolette Forte & Friends (roots & world music) until 8:30pm.

The menu for Good Beer Week event Brewers and Chewers has been announced!
Lucky guests will be dining and chatting with brewing 'royalty', drinking delicious beers from said royalty and enjoying the most scrumptious three-course menu around.
