While numbers were a little down on normal, the upside was a more intimate conversation-style Ale Star session in Wilfred's Room with the inimitable Brad Rogers, Head Brewer at Stone & Wood Brewing Co in Byron Bay.
The theme of the night was dark lagers so we sampled Kostritzer, Dogbolter, S&W Stone Beer and Aventinus Eisbock. The People's Choice beer was Brad's Stone Beer and he had fascinating stories to tell about its creation.
Thanks to Brad for attending the night and sharing his knowledge and tales with the Ale Stars. It's always a pleasure hosting him..
