Darlo hosted its first Mebourne Cup in style with a sit down lunch in the restaurant followed by a rousing watching of "the race that stops the nation" in the downstairs bar.
50 guests enjoyed a tasty three course feast prepared by Robbie and the crew - all washed down with a Sundowner Lager from James Squire (free plug!). Big winners on the day revelled under the Winners Lane sign while Nicki ran the fashions on the field, which was more hotly contested than the race itself.
