This is the same day as one of your softball games... what about those playing softball that want to come? I guess we non-players will just have to take lots of photos for you and give a detailed report on the food and beer??
ReplyDeleteHey Katja,
ReplyDeleteClashes are sometimes unavoidable given all the events we have. If Sluggers (like Brian and me) want to go to the Diva dinner and can find a replacement Slugger, that is fine..
That's what I might try and do - that menu has me salivating!
How bout we just forfeit the game in true Ale Star fashion...we can afford ONE loss for the season
ReplyDeletePost a loss??!! Are you mad?? :-)
ReplyDeleteThere's only about 3 Ale Stars in the Sluggers so I think we can find a work-around..
How about we make it a Beer Diva Beer Picnic at, say, Fawkner Park or something nice like that, and instead of oranges at half time we could have Orangebooms and for every home run we have to skol a pot? I'd take up softball for those kinda conditions!
ReplyDeleteCheers
and see you at the Beer Diva dinner!
Prof Pilsner
Hey Prof,
ReplyDeleteThe team that um uh err, "was better on that day" last week was doing just about that exact thing. Granted it was VB.
