Specialty Lagers were the beer of choice at this month's Darlo Ale Star session. Doc in his second event as the Ale Star Tsar informally took the group (and several first timers - including a non beer drinker!) through the selection of Samuel Adams Boston Lager, Brewdog Zeitgeist, Monschoffs Kellerbier and Schlenkerla Marzen Rauchbier.
Steve was up for the event this month and led the blind taste test - where an individual from each group had to guess the tap beer - only one group/person guessed correctly. The chosen beer was Feral's new Raging Flem Belgian IPA!
After much discussion the Monschoff Kellerbier was chosen as the favourite on the night.
Trivia on the night was won by the newcomers with the non beer drinker!!
