Crafty Pint website is go, go go!

After many, many months of hard work by freelance beer journo, James Smith, his pet project, The Crafty Pint website, is now online. Do yourself a favour and check it out.

Here's what he has to say about it:

Yes, after many moons, thousands of kilometres, hundreds of beers and more nasty traffic accidents than anyone would wish for (i.e. one), the mission to put class in your glass is underway.

There’s never been a more exciting time for beer lovers in Australia. The craft beer revolution has well and truly taken hold of the country with more breweries opening all the time and brewers becoming ever more adventurous. They’re being helped on their way by bars and bottleshops dedicated to good beer and drinkers on the hunt for new and exciting taste experiences.

Until now, it hasn’t been easy to keep track of the fast-growing scene. And that’s where The Crafty Pint comes in. You’ll find the best craft brewers, their beers and the places that are selling them on one easy-to-use site as well as a host of other beery info: events, photos, interactive maps, personalities, recipes, limited release beers and a whole lot more.

We’re covering Victoria first as that’s where the revolution has taken hold fastest and firmest, but will be adding new breweries, bars, beers and bottleshops all the time – and taking The Crafty Pint interstate over the coming months. For now, head to the site, have a look around, discover new beers and places you never knew existed and get excited. We certainly are.

Cheers!
