Thanks to an idea from beertender Bea Palmer, the Darlinghurst staff donated all their tips from the weekend to the children affected by the floods in Pakistan. Bea is seen above with some of the crew after a big Saturday night at The Local Taphouse.
Bea emailed all staff before the weekend and asked for a joint effort in collecting all tips to assist the relief effort. Addditionally Les contributed a mixed case of his homebrews which were raffled amongst the staff to add to the cause.
The net result from the weekend was that $920 was collected and donated to the UNICEF Australia - Pakistan Childrens Flood Appeal.
