After the great success of last year's Melbourne Cup lunch, Head Chef Robbie has been furiously working away to come up with this year's menu. And the results are in:
Entree – to be shared
(prosciutto, salami, grilled chorizo, Taphouse pate, gherkin & sundried tomatoes w toasted bread)
(artichokes, olives, sundried tomatoes, chèvre filled capsicums & a black olive tapenade w toasted bread)
Grain fed Rump steak marinated in juniper berries and Guinness stout served with cauliflower puree, slow roasted field mushroom and baby carrots with a Guinness stout and rosemary jus
Pan seared Salmon served with a warm potato, caper, red onion and roquette salad, with a lemon and wit beer hollandaise
Homemade spinach ravioli filled with ricotta, sundried tomato, olives and basil
Young’s double chocolate stout mousse
Lindemans Framboise raspberry pannacotta
Lunch is $50/head. Bookings are essential and we recommend you book early for your chance to join in the fun of the day. There'll be race sweeps and the return of Fashions at The Local!
