Roof terrace works in Darlo take a big step forward last weekend

While the Oktoberfest SpecTAPular was getting going downstairs on Saturday, these guys had blocked off South Dowling Street to make way for a crane you possibly could have sighted from the airport, such was its size..

It was a beautiful sight and one a long time in the making. Work is now well and truly underway and things should motor along now that the major component (steel) is largely in place.

Counting the days till opening!

  3. Yes Dave. The builder has been appointed and the demolition of one of the buildings is imminent. The bottle shop (the other building) will prob open first but not before Jan or so as some structural work needs to be done first..
