Ale Stars this month put a different twist on our usual style or theme based sessions. This time we looked at beer blending which saw some of us partaking in what we previously thought would be absolute sacrilege - getting great beer and putting other stuff in it.
There were a few eyebrows raised as we started with a shandy consisting of Trumer Pils and home made lemonade. Most were pleasantly surprised that this little concoction was actually really refreshing.
The other blends proved to be great conversations starters as debate raged over various beers, other ingredients and combinations thereof.
