BrewDog Ale Star session in Darlo smashes all attendance records
Last Monday saw a special event as James Watt from BrewDog attended the Ale Star appreciation session in Darlo. For those that don't know, BrewDog make amazing beers but also like to stir things up a tad, attracting much hoped-for media storm that often accompanies their stunts (it's worth a Google to see what they get up to).
This Ale Star night sold out almost a month in advance and smashed attendance records. It certainly lived up to its billing and hopefully we'll see some of the newcomers to this Ale Star session at future sessions. The beers rocked and, despite being a little jet lagged, James was a terrific speaker with plenty of tales to tell of his and his partner, Martin Dickie's, successful BrewDog journey.
The "Barrel-age your mum" team won the trivia and scored a BrewDog prize pack along with a round of BrewDog beers..
Thanks to Neil Barker for helping is organise the event. We hope to be able to announce more BrewDog good news soon.
