GABS 2013 - Cellarman's Selection

The highly anticapted Great Australian Beer SpecTAPular, or GABS for short, is being held this coming weekend in Melbourne and wraps up the end of Good Beer Week. With 92 specially brewed beers it's going to quite a task to sample them all, so we spoke to our local cellarman, Ozzy, and beertender, Scott, to gather their picks for GABS.

We are going to break the shortlist into two catergories 'Sure Things', beers that we know are going to taste amazing based on a combination of whats been put on paper as well as the strength of brewery's output; and the second catergory 'Hit or Miss' is for brews that sound very exicting or innovative while going out on limb.

The lineup this year is looking to follow a good progession from the last with many barrel or oak aged beers being put forward, so looking forward to geeking out with you over some tastey brews!
