SpecTAPular IX now has a name and a sponsor! The Moose & Mountie SpecTAPular takes place on Saturday August 14th in both venues and will feature 19 of the bestest (!) Canadian craft beers on tap for the first time ever in Australia.
Thanks for everyone who posted ideas for a name to our Facebook pages and comments section. While no one came up with the name we actually used, Richard at Beer Cartel came closest so we'll organise for some Canadian merchandise as a prize (handed over on the day).
Here's the list of beers lined up. Even the Canadians on various beer websites are blown away with the beers we've been lucky enough to source.
Finally, the Canadian Government has very kindly agreed to sponsor the event. Among other wonderful benefits, one of the best is that punters will now be able to drink the beer at a much more palatable price than would otherwise have been the case. We LOVE Canada, especially now!

I had a dream about this last month... it was called beaverfest in my dream! it was to celebrate canadians in australia! and now it has come true! so looking forward to this event!
