With Oktoberfest 2010 donations, both Taphouses pass more than $35k in total donations!

As is now custom, we donate 100% of all door takings from SpecTAPulars to charity so for the Oktoberfest SpecTAPular, $1310 was taken on the door in St Kilda for St Kilda Youth Services' Local Arts Initiative. The donation total on the door in Darlo was $1010 and all of this will be donated to Mission Australia. Thanks again to all who came along for the Oktoberfest and supported both us and these charities.

I've been doing some tallying and these donations (and from other SpecTAPulars and fundraising events) mean that since opening that both venues have donated more than $35,000 to various charities including Mission Australia, Room to Read, Salvation Army, ACON, St Kilda Youth Services' Local Arts Initiative, Movember, World Vision, Fred Hollows, Legacy - Raise a Glass, Red Cross, Hargreaves Hill Bushfire Appeal.. Amazing!
